Why did I choose this career?

Since I was a little kid, I liked touching differnet things even the things that said "don't touch". I liked drawing and doing crafts. My mother bougth CDs of games of dinosaurs and things related with science. In primary school I became interested in sciences and I liked doing experiments. In Secondary school I liked biology, but I was interested in the health area, because I liked helping the people and having contact with them, so I wanted to study medicine and I had other options: in second in option odontology and third option medical technology. This last option I didn't like much, because you work in the laboratory and don't assist people. When the day of PSU came and posterior delivery  of results, I was missing five points to enter to medicine and then I applied to dentistry.

I like dentistry becauyse it's an autonomous profession, one takes of clinical decisions and it combines crafts, esthetics and sciences. Also dentistry has different labor fields (public and private health, research and others).

My experience in the university unitl now is I have studied much in the week, I have good time organization, I am very tolerant and patient, and the most important I support and help my classmates.
